EverSoPopular Discovers: Mustang Roadhouse

Last night, on Monday, October 20, Hard Rock Hotels and Casinos and Ford Motor Company announced the top 10 artists who are breaking new ground and setting the stage for the future in the music industry -- and celebrated through a special live performance with Elle King, Betty Who, ASTR and Misterwives in conjunction with the CMJ Music Marathon called the Mustang Roadhouse.  

Celebrities including Taye Diggs and Justin Chambers attended the celebration, along with hundreds of media and music fans.

Like music, which has the power to transcend generations, help define popular culture and ignite movement, Ford Mustang inspires a sense of freedom, independence and adventure. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Mustang and its influence on popular culture, Ford and Hard Rock have teamed up through the ICON50 program to name 10 up-and-coming artists shaping the future of music. ICON50 artists include ASTR, Betty Who, Cathedrals, Elle King, Joywave, MisterWives, Sheppard, Smallpools, Young Rising Sons and Young & Sick.

To inspire Americans to hit the road and discover for themselves what's next, they have also mapped out the future of music by curating a route through America, featuring must-see destinations for the industry. These landmarks were revealed at the performance and can be found here via an interactive map.
