EverSoPopular Loves: The Urban Decay “Pulp Fiction” Collection

Inspired by film and the new Urban Decay ultra limited-edition “Pulp Fiction” collection. I decided to recreate Mrs. Mia Wallace’s dark, edgy look with this palette.

Since this year is the twentieth anniversary of the release of the "Pulp Fiction" our beauty friends and Urban Decay decided to commemorate the occasion the UD way—with an ultra limited-edition collab.

This collection has everything you need to recreate Mia’s dark, edgy look from the film, including this limited-edition palette. It contains five shades of Eyeshadow (three are brand new!). What you see is what you get: Righteous (light cream matte), Tyranny (warm brown matte), Vengeance (deep taupe-brown matte-satin), Furious (white satin) and Anger (black satin w/slight tonal sparkle).

I was hesitant about the palette for non-Mia Wallace inspired looks. I'm not much of nude gal. I like color! But I must admit when playing with the palette colors you understand the UD Pigment Infusion System, its the proprietary blend of ingredients that gives every shade its velvety texture, rich color, serious staying power and blendability.

The shiny black case features the Ezekiel passage (that is not actually in the Bible) voiced by Jules Winnfield in the film. Inside, there’s a generous mirror and a blood-red double-ended brush (a compact shadow brush and a multitasker brush).

Also, you need to know about this lippie! Revolution Lipstick in Mrs. Mia Wallace, a deep blood red, it has great color payoff with creamy shine. I love the packaging too, its in a limited-edition, jet-black version of the classic lipstick case.

The final look is inspired by my favorite part of the movie: the dance scene, which possibly results in winning a dance contest.
