Golden Hour: @BeautyandEssex Pawn Shop With Lauren Kaminsky's New "Charm Bar"

Recently, I attended LoveGold's "Golden Hour" event at Beauty & Essex! LoveGold.com and Lauren Kaminsky introduced the new "Charm Bar" at the Beauty & Essex Pawn Shop in New York last night.

Lauren Kaminsky, aka GoldGirl is a contributor to LoveGold.com and has her own website, Pawn on the Cobb. Kaminsky blogs about her knowledge of gold based on her experiences as a third generation pawn broker and Vice President of EZ Pawn Shop in New York and curator of the Pawn Shop at lower east side hotspot: Beauty & Essex.

Kaminsky’s grandfather started Gem Pawnbrokers in 1947 and then in the mid-90’s her father started another business from the ground up, calling it EZ Pawn Corp. As a child, Lauren went to consignment and vintage shops with her mother and remembers fondly sifting through all the jewelry and later held an internship with her father at EZ Pawn, solidifying her love for gold vintage jewelry.

She has translated that love of gold into her newest addition to the Beauty & Essex Pawn Shop: The Charm Bar. The bar consists of over 300 one of a kind, vintage gold charms – everything from lockets, to globes, to sombreros, and with the opening price point of $15, there is truly something for everyone.
