Beauty Breakfast With @Birchbox & @laqaandco #BirchBloggers

This week I attended a special Birchbox power beauty breakfast with LAQA & Co.! I was one of the Birchbloggers bloggers to attend the Birchbox Soho's first-ever blogger focus group!

Have you tried LAQA & Co. products? You might recognize this brand from their Sheer Lip Lube Pencils that were sampled to some lucky Birchbox subscribers this year!

Nicole and Gina, co-founders of Brooklyn-based startup LAQA & Co. wanted to make life easier for the girl on-the-go.

Their first product, a pen containing high-gloss nail polish, allows users to manage their manicures anywhere (even on rollicking NYC subways!); their second product, a jumbo lip gloss pencil in a range of fresh-looking shades, requires no sharpener. 

Aside from their pigmented lip colors and playful nail polishes, I especially love their product packaging. They work with emerging artists on the design of all packaging and directly give back a percentage of profits from each sale. 

Artists receive valuable exposure and support (including a percentage of profits from each sale), and consumers learn about accessible art and alternative role models.
