Step Up Your Selfies With New App: GlamST

I love those steal her look stories and posts I see about celebs on the red carpet. The reality is unless we can hire the same glam squad as those Hollywood actresses we are never going to get those looks. But theres a new app does help you get close! GlamST is an app for iOS that allows you to discover new makeup by choosing the styles you love and trying makeup on your photo.

You can freely experiment from the comfort of your phone, try on makeup by snapping a selfie, choosing your style and seeing how makeup would really look on your face.

The goal is to make women feel comfortable with their choices and who they are daring them to experience the power of makeup and find the best-looking version of them. The app is available in the store here: https://itunes.apple.com/uy/app/glamst/id917490858?mt=8

Once you upload you can "apply" makeup looks by category: Trendy, Glam, Hipster, Natural, etc or what I loved by celebrity! 

Here I choose some of my favorites from the red carpet.  

Eva Mendes: I loved the eyes but the lip gloss is a little light in color.

Jessica Alba: Love the big smoked out eyes and the pink lip. IRL, Id add some blush and bronzer to tie it together. 

Queen Latifah: I felt like I could sing jazz standards with this look. Bold liner and bold eyes!

My favorite look on me was the interpretation of supermodel Cara Delevigne's makeup. Celeb inspiration photos are included with-in the app too!

The co-founders are two women who are both telematics engineers from Uruguay, South America. As women engineers in a male-dominated world, they decided to bring innovation to a problem women face everyday: choosing make that's best for you and spotting the latest trends. 

At first, both coded the first version of the software, which L'Oreal uses in their home country; it was a point of sale version of the virtual tester, which automatically captures a picture of the user. The product has now evolved to GlamST: an online platform, which aims to create a new way of selecting and buying products. Today the  platform is used by Dior, YSL, Shiseido and Lancome.
