Upgrade Your Sports Bra: My #VSSportTester Review
I am freshening up my workout wardrobe from head to toe! Other than adding cute sweat-wicking headbands to my gym bag. I knew I needed to upgrade my sports bra situation.
Let's face it I am going through a #SportBraBreakup with my old bra. The worse thing about my old sports bra is that its elastic is on its last breath, so there is not a lot of support on the bottom now.
As we know any woman who participates in even regular exercise should invest in a sports bra. A good sports bra is just as important as a good pair of the proper type of shoes for the purpose, yet 73% of women who exercise on a regular basis are not wearing them.
As luck would have it, Influenster provided me with complimentary Victoria's Secret Sports Bra to test out.
The Angel by Victoria's Secret Sport Bra is now my favorite sport bra simple because of the style and fit.
The style is great and having a hook and eye closure in the back gave me a better fit than many of the other sports bras I've used before. I wore it for my low impact yoga class, cycling and then grabbed a quite bite with friends by throwing on another top over it.
During my yoga class there was no tugging or adjusting my bra. The straps of the bra are thin but dont dig. I felt the band stay flat to my body and opposed to riding up the entire class. So whether I was in Warrior 1 or Tree I felt supported and not annoyed by the sports bra. After class, I rode my bicycle over some precarious bumps and hills (all too prevalent in NYC) but in my Angel sports bra I didn't feel as, um, jiggly as I normally would.
Another thing I love about this sports bra is under a button down shirt it kinda looks like a cami and not a typical boob squishing sports bra.
Oh and the colors that are available give you lots of options.
The sporty look lets you go from the studio to the street and look cute!
If you are athletic or even exercise regularly, you should certainly invest in a sports bra in order to support your breasts during periods of activity or exercise. Overall, in terms of low to mid-impact activities I would give this sport bra and A for support and comfort. I love my new sports bra and plan to get more in as many colors as I can and check out more from Victoria's Secret Sport collection.
