How To Get Gorgeous Like Becky G!
For Becky G.’s Beauty Look we asked makeup artist Sarah Uslan to break it down:
"I started with the COVERGIRL Ready, Set Gorgeous Concealer and Foundation, which has powder built-in to help fight shine. I used the concealer in a V shape under her eyes to give them a bit of a lift before putting the foundation over - adding to the flawless overall look of her skin. Then I used bronzing powder to contour her cheekbones and also on the forehead and neck area to warm her skin tone plus
Classic Color Blush in Silk Roses on the apples of her cheeks. Then I set the whole look with powder.
To bring in the silver in the studs on her skirt, I used the creamy Bombshell Shine Shadow in Ice Queen. It has these reflective pigments so your eyes dazzle when the light hits your face. Then with the Flamed Out Shadow Pot in Molten Black, I created a V from the outside edge of the lash line and going into the crease and blending inward. For shadow, I used Eye Enhancers 4-Kit Shadows in Drama Eyes and blended that all in. To finish off the look, I used the Bombshell Intensity Linerto create a bigger-than-normal, 60's-inspired cat eye and layered on thee coats of Clump Crusher Mascara on the top lashes and one coat on the bottom. You get a ton of volume, and you can layer it on without clumps - perfect for touch-ups throughout the night. I also used a little dab of the silver shadow on the inner corner of the eye for a pop of shimmery color there.
For lips, we wanted something with a great color payout and also lustrous vibrant shine for the carpet, so we went with Colorlicious Lip Gloss in Berrylicious. For a while, matte lips were a big trend but gloss is definitely having a moment and is back in a big way!"
