Road Tripping In Texas: A Night In Dallas With Toyota & Best Western
Are you ready for a road trip? I am and I want you to join me!
Wooooo! I embarking on a 3 city tour in Texas. The three cities I will be traveling to in the "Lone Star" state are: Dallas, Austin and San Antonio!
As a Toyota Latino Ambassador, I will be driving the Toyota Corolla, Camry and Prius! In between, I'll be resting my head at the Best Western properties in each city.
I am very happy to share my partner in road tripping is Lizza of xoxoLizza! All of our adventures on the road will lead up to the NAHJ Convention in San Antonio.
Each day of the trip I will check out great fun things in each city and share a long the way. Along the way I hope to share some of my great travel, driving and random tips too!
Recently, Best Western surveyed travelers and got some interesting insights. One of the biggest things is the impact of social media.
With the convenience of search engines, Meta travel search sites, social media, online travel agencies and brand websites, more than 90 percent of travelers research their options online before booking. That's quite the finding.
More people are traveling for work. Forty-nine percent of travelers, who indicated the primary reason for the majority of their travel was business, stayed in hotels five or more times in the past year, compared to 18 percent of respondents who indicated the primary reason for the majority of their travel was vacation.
Let's Go To Dallas
After a short flight from NY to Dallas. I arrive at the BEST WESTERN PREMIER Crown Chase Inn & Suites.
Did you know that Best Western has 3 property tiers? They are the Best Western Premier, Best Western Plus and Best Western.
Here are some photos of the Best Western Premier.
When traveling for both business and leisure, access to free Wi-Fi is most important, followed by complimentary breakfast and/or happy hour specials. Luckily, the Best Western hotels have us covered!
This room is bigger than a NY apartment! A king sized bed, desk and lounge area is very roomy and comfortable for even the weariest of travelers.
This was the pool I didn't get to swim in but I thought it was a nice way to relax and cool off for the BW visitors.
The consistent thing about all BW properties is the free breakfast and since we were in Texas the waffle maker made breakfast in the shape of the state!
