Tweed Inspired Makeup @Chanel #eyesredefined
On Friday, September 12th I had the chance to check out a fab Chanel event at Bloomingdales on 59th Street!.
The event was hosted by InStyle Beauty Director, Kahlana Barfield and appearances and demos were made by Chanel National Makeup Artists (NMAs) John Fussell and Sterling Williams.
There were so many great tips and trick shared I couldn't wait to try on new shadows. I hopped in a chair and an eye makeover with one of the Les 4 Ombres – this new collection of shadow quads is inspired by Chanel’s iconic tweeds.
Don't Cover, Correct
Strong eyes are best paired with a flawless complexion. Use a creamy concealer only where needed to disguise redness; set with powder and let your natural cheek color shine through.
Enhance Your Arches
Accent the bold eye by combing brows with a brow gel for added definition.
I choose Tisse Cambon for the high impact pink in the quad:
Vintage pinks set the scene. The rue Cambon, the realm of Gabrielle Chanel, offers radiant and singular femininity in this palette that is emblematic of the House. The colour harmony unveils subtle, soft and luminous tones, from an iridescent mauve and a velvet blackcurrant to a bluish pale pink and an intense pink.
To finish the look I tired the Rouge Allure in Secrete...and a little powder to finish the look.
