Style Math: How To Wear White (Yes, even in winter)
Once an accent shade, white is now a power player all year long. To truly make white work, you need more than super chic designs. Here are my 3 top tips for those looking to stand out while wearing white anytime of year.
1. Start small, think accessories!
My go to accessory is my Citizen Axiom watch. The refined yet sleek design offers a day-to-night fashion options for any trendsetter. In stainless steel rose gold tone (the hottest metallic shade of the season) and a white leather strap and rose gold tone accents and the intriguing feature of edge-to-edge glass.
2. Hit the right tone.
You dont have to wear all white everything. A monochromatic look can make you look thinner, taller and chicer (in any color) but try pairing shade of off-white, cream and beige colors for a timeless look.
3. Play with texture.
It's certainly sweater weather but we all know how temperatures can change by the hour. Make sure your heavy items are fit to layer. Layering allows you to play with texture and hues. Think a chunky cream colored knit over a nude body suit paired with an off-white textured skirt and neutral ankle boots!
Remember to have fun with fashion!
