The Dead Sea, our planet's most nutrient-dense lake, has been the destination for health and beauty enthusiasts for thousands of years. Boasting more than 35 distinct minerals, the healing properties of the Dead Sea are renowned. The mud yielded from this site has been used to treat a wide range of conditions from arthritis and injured muscles, to skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema.
For this reason, it is commonly used in spa treatments around the world. It promotes balance and health by pulling harmful toxins from the body, promoting optimal cell function and regeneration. Dead Sea mud encourages healthy blood circulation, which allows the skin cells to receive sufficient oxygen and nutrients. Frequently used as an anti-aging treatment, it strengthens weak skin tissue and restores skin's delicate chemical balance, while diminishing the appearance of fine lines, deep wrinkles and age spots.
To Use: Dead Sea mud is highly versatile and can be used in a variety of different ways to enhance your skin's health and beauty. For optimal results, treat yourself to a Dead Sea mud treatment at least once a week, or as often as needed. For the body: Generously distribute the Dead Sea Mud over your body, and allow it to dry for 20-30 minutes.
Rinse completely with warm water. For the hair: After wetting the scalp and hair, apply the Dead Sea mud to your scalp, then work through your hair. Allow the mask to absorb for 30 minutes, then rinse completely with warm water. To treat muscle or joint pain: Put some Dead Sea mud into a microwave-safe bag. Pierce the bag, and then warm in the microwave at 50% power for 2 minutes. Once the bag has cooled to a comfortably warm temperature, spread it over the site of pain. Allow the mud to cool, and then rinse with warm water.
