How You Can Create Becky G's Caliente Look at the 2015 Latin Billboard Awards
Tonight at the 2015 Latin Billboard Awards, COVERGIRL Becky G is rocking it in more ways than one: not only is she nominated for Crossover Artist of the Year, she’s also the only girl in her category!
On the red carpet, Becky stunned in a Charbel Zoe dress and COVERGIRL glam. Below, Becky’s makeup artist Etienne Ortega shares how she created the look at Latin Billboard Awards.
For the Latin Billboard Awards, Becky G and I decided on a rosy gold look with nude lips and a dramatic, over the top lash to match her stunning Charbel Zoe dress.
We went with a natural base look, I prepped the skin and then used COVERGIRL’s TruBLEND Foundation in Creamy Beige D1. The foundation has amazing coverage and gave her a flawless base to build upon. I find that the best brush for perfect coverage is the Beauty Blender. I then focused on creating a golden glow since we're in Miami. One of my favorite techniques is contouring, which allows you to highlight the structure of the face. It is done by using creme foundations in key areas around the face. For tonight's look I made sure to highlight her cheekbones, using truBlend FixStick Concealer in multiple shades because the product is so blendable I was able to contour and highlight around her jawline and cheekbones. Becky's got such an amazing bone structure that it's easy to do.
After her base was in place I turned my attention to her eyes; the focus for the evening's Red Carpet look. Becky has these big, beautiful, brown eyes and in order to complement her rose gold dress I created a soft yet smoky look using bronzes and browns. With Becky we always do a cat eye. To get this effect I used COVERGIRL’s new Intensify Me! Liquid Eyeliner to add to the drama. I love how dark the liner is. It's very true and exact. The final touch for Becky's eyes was to create the perfect lash look. To give the sensation of a thick dark lash I used COVERGIRL’s The Super Sizer Mascara. I applied the mascara to the top lashes, twirling the Lash Styler (AKA wand) as I pulled through to comb the lashes from root to tip. I applied three coats to add to the drama, and finished with a coat to the lower lashes.
To complete Becky's look I used COVERGIRL’s Lip Lava in a beautiful nude/pink.

Para los Premios Billboards, Becky G y yo decidimos en un look dorado con labios de color “nude" y pestañas intensas y dramáticas para que coincidan con su vestido maravilloso de Charbel Zoe.
En su piel, elegimos un look natural. Preparé la piel y usé COVERGIRL truBLEND en tono. Esa maquillaje tiene cobertura increíble y le dio una base perfecta para empezar. Siempre encuentro que la mejor brocha para la cobertura perfecta es el Beauty Blender. Después, me concentré en crear un brillo dorado porque estamos en Miami. Unos de mis métodos favoritos es el contorno, que permita iluminar la estructura de la cara. Se hace por usar bases cremosas. Para el look de esta noche, me aseguré iluminar sus pómulos. Becky tiene una estructura increíble, por eso fue muy fácil hacerlo.
Después de terminar con su base, divertí mi atención a sus ojos-- el foco de su look para la alfombra roja esta noche. Becky tiene unos ojos marrones muy grandes y para que complementar su vestido dorado, creé un look mullido y humoso usando tonos marrones y bronceados. Con Becky, siempre hacemos un ojo de gato y para crearlo usé el nuevo Intensify Me! Eyeliner de COVERGIRL para añadir la drama. Me encanta el color oscuro de este delineador, es muy exacto. El toque final a los ojos de Becky fue crear las pestañas perfectas. Para dar la sensación de pestañas espesas y oscuras, usé Super Sizer Mascara de COVERGIRL. Apliqué la mascara a las pestañas superiores, girando el “lash styler” (el cepillo) desde raíz hasta la punta. Apliqué tres capas para añadir a la drama, y terminé con una capa en las pestañas inferiores.
Para completar el look de Becky, usé Lip Lava de COVERGIRL en un tono bellísimo “nude"/rosado.
