Red Carpet Beauty: Anne Hathaway at The Intern Premiere

We loved Anne Hathaway's red carpet look at the New York premiere of The Intern. Her gown even looked a bit familiar to us because we saw it on the runway a few months back. This hand beaded sequin dress with ostrich feather trim dress is straight off the Rodarte runway! Guess what? It's sold out!

That's ok because we love her natural beauty look too. I mean natural in terms of ingredients, yes, the look is very high wattage & sexy! We talked to celebrity makeup artist Jillian Dempsey created a sultry look for movie star Anne Hathaway for the premiere of The Intern in New York City on Monday to get more details. 

“Anne’s wearing a gorgeous one-shoulder gown with vintage vibe. The black and sapphire dress inspired me to emphasize her expressive eyes. Since Anne requested that I work with all-natural products, I got to play around with the best natural brands.

I began by defining her lash and water lines with two different shades of Votre Vu Le Joli Eye Crayon. I used black on both the top and bottom and Azure, a deep cerulean, below the lashes. To build intensity, I brushed two shadows from the Votre Vu Palette Play Eye Shadow Quad in Violette across her lids and under her eyes. Votre Vu Eiffel Power Mascara completed the sexy eye look, which we paired with structured brows to anchor the style. 

With such strong eyes, we wanted to warm up her skin and add soft, out of focus lips and cheeks. I swept Votre Vu Vu-On Rouge in Bouquet Rose over her cheeks. I finished by filling in her lips with the Honest Company Lip Crayon in Sheer Blossom Kiss to complement the pinky-nude blush. She looked smoking hot.”
