Halsey Wears 'Blade Runner' Inspired Custom Design to Met Gala 2016

Halsey wears custom D K N Y to this year's Met Gala. She accompanied D K N Y's Creative Directors (and founders of Public School) Dao-Yi Chow & Maxwell Osborne, who custom-designed the gown for Halsey.

Inspiration
Playing on the "tech white tie" and " The 2016 gala theme, “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology,”" theme, Dao-Yi & Maxwell were inspired by the lead female character in the movie "Blade Runner" and D K N Y's tailored hybrid pullover jackets and dresses from Fall 2016.

Fabric
White technical cotton satin for the jacket combined with a stretch silk rayon knit for the skirt - *important to note that it is ONE PIECE, not two separates.
