Celeb Spotting: Care Bears Front Row at the Michael Costello New York Fashion Week Show

Did you know that this year marks the Care Bears’ 35th Anniversary? Last night at the Michael Costello New York Fashion Week Show, Cheer Bear was spotted sitting front row.

Cheer Bear arrived fashionably on time, donning her signature pink fur and Rainbow Belly badge. She greeted Michael immediately upon arrival, and posed for photos with him backstage before heading into hair and makeup. Cheer Bear was a fan favorite among the models, constantly posing for selfies before heading to her front row seat.

Costello regularly dresses the Hollywood elite, and is a favorite among the likes of Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, and Kim Kardashian, among many others. His Fall/Winter 2017 collection was all about designing for the powerful woman, or the “enviable vixen” as Costello put it.

But there was one specifically special guest at this year’s show. Michael described, “This is so exciting for us, it’s the 35th Anniversary of Care Bears. I know I grew up watching Care Bears and I’m so excited to have Cheer Bear sitting front row at my show! “

Care Bears presence at the iconic fashion event has already prompted buzz throughout social media with fans remarking, “There’s a giant Care Bear sitting across from me in the front row of the Michael Costello show, because: FASHION”.

Cheer Bear’s impeccable style has already been a topic of conversation on social media as well with captions such as, “Cheer Bear has very expensive taste. She Doesn’t even get out of bed for anything less than $10,000”, and “Fashion Week Fab: Even bears wear faux fur”.
