Checking off items on my to-do list is one of my favorite hobbies. However, there are those appointments that often get rescudule or moved and just fall off the list.

The sad truth is these are usually the health realted appointments. I want to make sure I am up to date on my health as much as possible. So here’s what I am doing about it.

One thing that keeps falling from the top of that list for me is a trip to the dentist more specifically, a check-up & cleaning appointment. I put this back on my list when I booked an appointment at Beam Street, located in Greenwich Village, NYC, which is the first-ever doctor-owned studio series for dental hygiene, whitening & Invisalign only, cutting pricing for these services by up to 40% below market rates.

The office feels more like a sleek studio and less of a dentist's office, it’s like a Drybar of oral wellness. It was as easy as scheduling a blowout! My cleaning went well and I walked out with a smile on my face.

In NYC-based beauty services, Browtiste, has launched in-home beauty service offerings powered by Shortcut. With safety and convenience in-mind, they have carefully designed a menu of services, including their signature brow services and expanded to include makeup, body waxing and lash services. Last but not least, eyecare! I had to added this to a list earlier this month when my glasses seemed to not work as well as they used to. Well, that’s the thing, it had been more than a year since my last eye exam. Sure enough, I went to the doc and my RX had indeed changed. As soon as I got my new lenses, I swapped out the old ones in my favorite frames and then noticed a marked improvement in my vision. Yes, having the correct prescription is so important. This seems overly simplistic as I type it but It’s something that 2020 has taught me, you need to make your health a priority.
