SHOW
Despite the fact that there were six different beauty and hair looks coming down the street-gang inspired L.A.M.B. runway, the one commonality that all seemed to share was that the bigger and fiercer, the better. Models were outfitted in looks categorized as: the Soldier Girl, Ragga Muffin Girl, London Girl, Buffalo Girl, Mod Girl and Glamour Girl.
NAILS
Celebrity nail technician Pattie Yankee and the Dashing Diva nail team worked backstage to create nail looks for models at L.A.M.B. show at the Theatre at Lincoln Center.
To create a cohesive nail look for ,all of the ‘gangs’ in Gwen Stefani’s collection Pattie used Dashing Diva’s Limo Service polish for an edgy take on a neutral polish. The creator of the Love Angel Music Baby line said black is back for polish for Fall/Winter 2011.
HAIR
Hair by Danilo spanned the gamut from bouffants tucked behind lady-like head scarves, dramatically side-swept bangs, oversized buns, theatrical extensions, and an array of headpieces.
MAKE-UP
The different beauty looks done by Charlotte Willer for Maybelline New York was as equally fierce with inky eyeliner, strong brows, pops of electric turquoise, thick cat eyes, and shimmery eye accents all toned down with a neutral lip.
