Music Du Jour: Green Day
News is Green Day will be performing at the “2012 MTV Video Music Awards” LIVE on Thursday, September 6 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. To celebrate the announcement, the band cut a hilarious promo with VMA host Kevin Hart where Kevin (in full “Green Day-esque” attire) shows up and wants to join the band.
In addition MTV premiered the new Green Day video for “Oh Love.” The video premiere was followed by a 30-minute interview with Sway Calloway and the band on MTV.com.
And finally tonight night we MTV will host an interview with Robert Pattinson during “MTV First: Robert Pattinson” at 7:49 p.m. ET. The interview will kick off on MTV where Robert will introduce an exclusive clip from his new film COSMOPOLIS and be followed by a 30-minute Q&A on MTV.com.
