Ed Koch Funeral Brings Out Who’s Who of Political Figures

Today friends, family and a political who's who gathered on the Upper East Side today and paid their respects to former New York Mayor Ed Koch at his funeral.
The service began at Temple Emanu-el 11 a.m. with Mayor Michael Bloomberg delivering the eulogy. Former President Bill Clinton sharing letters sent from Koch offering up some, perhaps unsolicited, advice.

A quintessential New Yorker, Koch’s coffin was carried out to the tune of Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York.”
Ed Koch will be laid to rest at Trinity Cemetery in Washington Heights in New York City.
