All About Accessories: Fashion Week Essentials #NYFW #OOTD

Dressing for Fashion Week in New York is a sport! As a journalist I cover shows and events that take place all week. My fashion week means super early call times backstage to chat with models, celeb makeup artist, hairstylists, nail artists and designers. I have to dress for on-camera interviews in tight crammed spaces, so not glamorous. Often my practical side overrides my desire to wear the outfit I envision in my mind. I use accessories to make a look stand out and what results is a compromise of fun looks that work for my long days. Case in point my favorite fashion week outfit:

I was feeling Boho Chic with a twist of Rock N Roll. I had to wear these fun Luichiny booties (GLEEM ING). These heel-less wonders may concern you at first, they look like you’d end up face-planting with one wrong move. In fact, they are surprisingly stable as long as you don't get too comfy!
