You’re Invited to Dinner and a Movie @KTCHNnyc
With Pride Week in full swing there so much to do there almost isn’t anything to do.
This summer KTCHN Restaurant (508 West 42nd Street) hosts an Interactive Dinner and a Movie on summer Tuesdays from 8pm-10pm. The 3-course prix-fixe menu is $35, and includes a complimentary "themed" cocktail and popcorn while you relax and enjoy the following films:
Think ultimate foodie combined with Rocky Horror Picture show and you'll get the idea of KTCHN's dinner and a movie series, which when I went was showing the 1980's hit movie Dirty Dancing. Whether you're a foodie, movie buff, or just one of those people that likes to be loud in a theater, all are embraced here. Actually participation is encouraged.
At the beginning of the hosted screening, along with a pre-fix menu including Dirty Dancing themed cocktails, we were also handed lyrics from the movie’s soundtrack. The night is filled with crazy sing-a-longs, trivia, quizzes, dancing and the best part is the movie comes alive at KTCHN.
If you can't make it for To Wong Foo tonight check out the upcoming line up of feature flicks for the dinner and a movie program at KTCHN:
June 25th – To Wong Foo
July 2th – Silence of the Lambs
July 9th – Birdcage
July 16th – Moonstruck
