Grocery Spending Habits in America

Hello_Fresh_Ingredients_USA recent report conducted by YouGov on behalf of HelloFresh measured US consumer grocery shopping habits and found the 33 percent of American overall, and almost exactly half of Hispanic Americans (49 percent) overspend by at least $50 weekly at the grocery store, which is about $2600 annually.

Key study results found that:

· One in three Americans (49 percent of Hispanics) overspends by at least $50 on the weekly grocery store visit (that’s $2600 annually);

· More than half of Americans spend over two hours per week shopping for groceries;

· One in five Americans (19 percent of Hispanics) feels too busy to cook after work – a striking statistic considering how much time is spent in the grocery store weekly.
