When Pantone proclaimed the color of 2014 would be Radiant Orchid I immediately went to my closet to see what I have in that palette. I stopped when I saw my emerald green blouse and paused as if to say good-bye to it and 2013.

PRE SPRING 2014 #SHOP 21Now that the cold weather here to stay I am looking forward to spring 2014 and the purple tones that will delight us!

The spring runways were full of fun trends that will be fun to wear in warmer weather. But my attitude is why not wear ‘em, now!

Inspired? I know I am! A little shopping trip is what’s in order…serving a dual purpose. See, working in fashion and covering fashion shows, I see trends 6 months in advance or more…so the anticipation of waiting for a trend I loved from a collection at fashion week it too much!

My mission is to get my hands on some pre-spring pieces to wear now (and then later during the spring). I love
Sears because I know I will get great value and as a SYW reward member I earn points on my purchases.

Here are some of the items that are prefect for now and next spring…& you can wear them right now!

Here is my list of Spring 2014 Trends To Wear Now:

Floral Prints

Who says florals are for springtime only? It’s a great way to add a feminine
pop to your look.

Radiant Orchid

Purples, please! Not to be confused with the dark jewel tones we’ve
seen dominate stores in past years, these lighter shades and I’ll say it prettier.
