Satisfy Your Cravings: Sugartooth Tours

Recently I went for an adventure in the name of sweets and chocolate!

I went on the Village Valentine's Sweetheart Tour by Sugartooth Tours with my Valentine Yvonne of HeyDoYou. When it comes to sweets New York is full of true treasures. Sugartooth Tours definitely helps you think outside the box of chocolates! Their idea is to combine the the best sweets available in NYC with fun info about the shops and surrounding areas, our tour even had fun Valentine's Day trivia.

With so much great food in NY its hard to find what's best. Sugartooth Tours curates a great experience allowing you to leave the heavy lifting and thinking up to them. So for a special occasion like Valentines Day (or any romantic occasion) you can treat your sweetheart to a dessert experience slip a hot cocoa arm in arm down the Highline into the West Village were you can add a wine or beer pairing to your final decadent dessert tasting.

Its a great time for couples, groups of friends and yes even kids! The tours are small in size with no more than 16 people per tour, our tour had about 10 people, for a conversational experience.

The idea of the tours are to go off the beaten path beyond the big name change to seek out the best hidden gems where locals go. Sugartooth tours are dedicated to creating the best customer service experience to high quality tasting superior customer service and friendly informed licensed tour guides.

The tours are held rain or shine on Saturdays and Sundays an offer richness and desserts but also information New York is full of delicious finds but having these places scouted and curated as part of one experiment one culinary experience was a real treat in and of itself starting out the day and Chelsea walking from Chelsea to the Meatpacking District while sipping a rich warm cup of cocoa.

As we walked to the West Village, Yvonne and I would try to guess which place would be on the route and we were very surprised with where we stopped and what we found.

As foodies and sweet lovers, we naturally have our favorites but sometimes there are still hidden gems oddly enough within a 2 block radius of our favorite haunts.

The fun of the tour is taking time to taking the scene even if the weather is on the cold side as it was during our tour, although it wasn't raining or snowing. We got to learn about each individual establishment, usually independently owned, and what it is that makes their business special and  then tasting what they're known for made.

It was an informatively decadent experience!  I can't wait to go on my next sugar to tour I think this would be great for a birthday, bachelor/bachelorette event or even something for the Junior MasterChef as the tours are very kid friendly.
