Raising Awareness for Domestic Violence One Pair of Shoes at a Time

Marking its 19^th year supporting Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention, Marshalls, in partnership with its shoppers, will Take a Stand against Domestic Violence. From October 1 through October 15, for every pair of shoes purchased, $1—up to $150,000, will be donated to the National Domestic Violence Hotline. Over the last 19 years, Marshalls and their customers have been supporting the prevention of domestic violence, raising millions of dollars and generating awareness through in-store campaigns and support of national and local organizations across the country. With one in four women being affected by domestic violence, everyone likely knows someone who needs or has needed help.

Here are a sampling of the hottest shoes available at Marshalls this fall that can help a worthy cause:

• Feminine flats with detailing such as ruffle pleating and zipper-trim rosettes
• Platform booties in suede and animal prints
• Leather motorcycle boots with buckle details
• Over-the-knee boots in neutral tones such as mushroom, taupe or grey
• Clogs with wood bottoms and simple details like studding or fur trim
• A pump with oxford detailing – popular update to the classic style
