Swimsuit By The Numbers: What Goes Into A @SI_Swimsuit Shoot

Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue may come out in February, but around here it is a year-long process. This week editors head to another extravagant location and Janine Berey, editorial coordinator for SI Swimsuit, takes us into the swim closet to show us what it takes to prepare for a  photo shoot thousands of miles away. 

For this particular shoot Janine helped pack:

650 swimsuits, 

20 pairs of shoes, 

2 boxes of jewelry and much more.

Other fun facts: they spent $1,500 on oversized baggage charges ad traveled 7,000 miles traveled to and from destination (with all of this baggage).
